One of the largest and most globally significant arms and military equipment fairs in the world, “IDEX 2023”, was held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The business company Teleoptik Gyroskopi also participated in this 30th anniversary fair. The stand of JP Jugoimport SDPR displayed products from the Serbian defense industry, and our company also occupied a significant place.
We presented the GSN 145 homing head, NT 35 sight, NT 75 sight, POS 11, M 91 silencers, Zastava M 07, PKM M-84 silencer, 4×32 sight, reflex sight, ONS 10, monocular, as well as the PR 27 sighting device.
The general impression is that Teleoptik Gyroscope’s products are competitive on the market and rival global manufacturers. Interest in the entire range of our company was at a high level.

The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, also attended the fair in Abu Dhabi, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
At the fair in Abu Dhabi, President Vučić emphasized that around 700 million euros will be secured before the end of the year for further investment in the military and domestic defense industry, adding that a global arms race has begun.
“We will have an extra-budgetary allocation of at least 500 million euros, and since we will purchase drones before the end of the year, it will be 700 million euros and at no time will the public debt exceed 56 percent of GDP,” said President Vučić, emphasizing that Serbia must have a strong army.
