IVF BVP M80 FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM

The system designed by Teleoptik Gyroscopes has been proven in military tests and is capable of providing complete fire control over the vehicle’s weapons and equipment, and provides a reliable observation platform.

The system consists of several subsystems, namely:

  • Control display with HMI functions and controller system that provides all control functions
  • Electro-optical system with 3 channels and includes MWIR thermal imaging, low light TV channel and laser rangefinder
  • Platform with automatic elevation control for a 30 mm automatic grenade launcher
  • Fire selection and control unit for 20mm cannon

TACTICAL COMBAT TERMINAL FOR ARMORED VEHICLES

This system is designed for the 122 mm 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer and consists of:

  • 8-inch monitor for the gunner’s station
  • 10-inch monitor for main system control for the vehicle commander
  • Computer unit for managing and processing the entire system

The system was designed in cooperation with the Military Technical Institute of the Republic of Serbia and is designed to operate in difficult conditions of a 122mm howitzer, to be able to fire from all elevation positions of the weapon and to enable MRSI fire.

The main computer unit has several communication ports (inputs) capable of connecting to any system, it is also possible to add any control bus at the user’s request. As for the system on the 2S1 Gvozdika, data is downloaded from the radio, analyzed using embedded software on the computer unit, and the necessary shooting elements are calculated, which will be displayed to the gunner for adjusting the position of the muzzle. While this activity is being performed, the computer automatically calculates the trajectory of the next projectile and provides the gunner with the data to change the elevation position of the barrel, thus achieving full MRSI firing capability.

In front of the commander is a 10-inch monitor with a built-in keyboard and a fully functional resistive touchscreen. This allows the commander to easily and completely control the system. As for the 8-inch riflescope monitor, there is a brightness control that allows the shooter to adjust the conditions to their own preferences.
